Find an example of a photograph where the photographer has used a very fast shutter speed and describe the subject matter including the background. Discuss any technical difficulties the photographer may have encountered and how he or she may have overcome them.
- Discuss what happened to the depth of field and why.
- Discuss weather the image gives you the feeling of movement, stating the reasons for your conclusion.

The subject of this photograph is the coffee in the mug, though the background is indistinguishable because the depth of field is very shallow, which is due to a small aperture, which was probably needed because it was very bright and less light was needed. Some technical difficulties could have been that that coffee was completely blurred and the viewer could not even tell that the liquid was coffee, or that it fell around the mug and blurred out what was on it. To fix this, the photographer could have used a faster shudder speed that resulted in the image above, which does give a sense of movement. It gives a sense of movement because the coffee is in focus but just a tad blurred in some places, and because normally coffee is not normally in the mug, like how the photo depicts it. The coffee is high in the air and outside of the mug, which gives the impression that it is splashing out of the cup.
